Drug Description : Although Sleep-Eze is mainly used as a nighttime sleep aid to help you fell asleep and stay asleep, Sleep-Eze D is also an antihistamine used to prevent symptoms of hay fever and allergies. Sleep-Eze is used to treat cough, nausea, vertigo, vomiting, and mild cases of Parkinson's disease. Store Sleep-Eze D at room temperature in a cool, dry location. Keep Sleep-Eze away from children. There are many factors that determine how often and how much medicine to take such as the condition being treated and the patients age and weight. Ask your doctor or health care provider if you have questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking. It is important that you read all the information provided for you with the medication. When you get your prescription refilled, reread the information provided for you with the medication. Take Sleep-Eze D as prescribed to you by your doctor or health care provider. Do not take Sleep-Eze D in larger or smaller than the prescribed amount. Do not take Sleep-Eze D longer than recommended by your doctor or health care provider. Take the medication with a full glass of water (8 ounces) and swallow in whole. Aggrenox/Dipyridamole comes in a caplet form, do not crush, chew, break or open an extended-release tablet. Check with your pharmacist to be sure that Sleep-Eze is for you. Before undergoing allergy tests, tell your doctor that you are using Sleep-Eze. Do not take a lot of aspirin while using this medication as it may cover the symptoms of taking too much aspirin. Sleep-Eze will intensify any symptoms of consuming alcohol or other medications which may cause drowsiness. You may experience a dry mouth or throat sensation while taking Sleep-Eze; for this just eat sugarless candy, gum, or melt small pieces of ice in your mouth. If this persists for over 2 weeks, tell a medical professional. Be cautious when administering Sleep-Eze to older people as they are quite sensitive to antihistamines. Elderly patients are more subject to confusion; painful urination; faintness; sleepiness; fainting sensation; or dryness of mouth, nose, or throat; nightmares; unexplained excitement; nervous; restlessness; or irritability. Most severe: Lightheadedness, dehydration of mouth, inability to focus, queasiness, anxiety, muscular weakness and coordination. Most common: Drowsiness.
