Sibelium (Flunarizine)

Do’s

• Always take Sibelium exactly as your healthcare provider has instructed you.
• Take Sibelium after a meal whenever possible to avoid stomach irritation. Swallow the tablets whole with water.
• The dosage and duration of Sibelium treatment will be determined by your healthcare provider. The recommended dosages may vary depending on individual factors. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions and read the label on your medicine carefully. 
• If you are on an ongoing treatment with Sibelium, your healthcare provider may recommend having two successive "tablet-free" days each week, for example, Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, after six months of treatment, your healthcare provider may advise taking a complete break from Sibelium.
• In case you accidentally take more Sibelium than you were instructed to, contact a healthcare provider or local hospital immediately.
• If you forget to take a dose of Sibelium, wait and take your next dose as usual, and then continue your course of medicine. 

Don’ts

• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed tablet.

• Dry mouth
• Drowsiness
• Depression
• Increased appetite
• Irregular menstrual cycle (in some cases)

Sibelium is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to flunarizine or any of the excipients in the formulation. If you have a history of flunarizine allergy or experience symptoms such as skin rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or breathing difficulties, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

It is not known whether Sibelium affects the ability to drive. If you experience any symptoms that may impair your driving ability, it is advised not to drive.

Store Sibelium tablets at room temperature (18-25 degrees Celsius) and keep them away from excessive light, moisture, and children. Do not flush the medicine down the toilet.
