Drug Description : Sabril is used to treat epilepsy. Sabril is an anticonvulsant medication used to treat partial seizures in those only over 16 years of age. Store Sabril in a cool, dry place. Keep away from heat. Take Sabril as prescribed to you by your health care provider, or as specified on the label. Drink lots of water while taking Sabril to prevent the formation of sediments in one's urine. If you have had any past allergic reactions to any sulfa drugs do not take Sabril. If you have anemia (folic acid deficiency) do not take Sabril. Do not administer this medication to any child less than 2 years of age. If you are pregnant, or plan to become pregnant you should inform your doctor before using Sabril. When visiting a doctor or dentist, inform them that you are using Sabril as it may effect the results of various tests. Because this drug may cause drowsiness you should be cautious when participating in certain activities which require your attention. This medication may increase the risk of losing your vision. If you notice any changes in your vision you should inform your doctor to prevent any more serious symptoms. Sabril may cause suicidal thoughts, or depression. If you notice a change in the behavior of yourself or someone using Sabril , please contact and inform a medical professional. Severe: Violent behavior, headache, more creation of saliva, muscle weakness, queasiness, lack of concentration, insomnia, speech impediment, thinking uncharacteristically, difficulty sleeping, not capable of sleeping, vomiting, weight increase.Common: Abdominal or stomach pain, irregular coordination, anxiety, prickly/tingly/burning sensations, awkwardness, confusion, constipation, diarrhea, lightheadedness, double vision or seeing double, sleepiness, increased movement, joint pain, depression,Other: None.
