QNASL Nasal Aerosol is indicated for the treatment of the nasal symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in patients 4 years of age and older. It is a corticosteroid that helps relieve symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose.

Do’s

  • Before using QNASL Nasal Aerosol, read the Patient Information Leaflet provided with the medication. If you have any questions, consult your healthcare provider.
  • The dosage of QNASL Nasal Aerosol is determined by your age, medical condition, and response to treatment. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions.
  • QNASL Nasal Aerosol is used in the nose and is typically administered once a day. 
  • If this medication is being used by a child, a parent or other responsible adult should supervise and help the child use the medication properly.
  • Before using QNASL Nasal Aerosol, gently blow your nose to clear any congestion. 
  • Follow the instructions provided on how to properly prime the inhaler. Priming is necessary if you are using it for the first time or if you have not used it for more than 7 days in a row.
  • QNASL Nasal Aerosol may not work immediately. While some people may feel the effects within several days, it may take up to 2 weeks to experience the full benefit of the drug. Consult your healthcare provider if you should continue using other allergy medications until QNASL takes full effect.
  • To get the most benefit from QNASL Nasal Aerosol, use it regularly at the same time each day. This will help you remember to take it consistently.
  • Wipe the inhaler regularly with a clean, dry tissue or cloth.

Caution should be exercised when administering QNASL Nasal Aerosol to elderly patients, as they may have a higher frequency of decreased hepatic, renal, or cardiac function, as well as concomitant diseases or other drug therapies.

QNASL Nasal Aerosol is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to beclomethasone dipropionate or any other ingredients in the medication.
