Indication : Prevident is used to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. It is used in patients who do not get the proper amount of fluoride, and those who had head or neck radiation which caused an increase in the decay of tooth enamel. Storage : Store at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Product Information : General Information : Precaution : Do not swallow Prevident. Always spit it out. If there is over 0.7 parts per million of fluoride in your drinking water, do not use Prevident. If you are on a low salt diet please inform your doctor before commencing the use of Prevident. If you have gum disease inform your doctor before using Prevident. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding inform your doctor before using Prevident. Warnings : There are no known warnings associated with Prevident. Patient Family Information  : Take Prevident exactly as prescribed to you by your doctor, or use the instructions provided on the label. You should use this medication immediately after brushing or flossing your teeth. To get the optimum results use Prevident right before going to bed. Swish your mouth with Prevident and then spit it out. Do not swallow Prevident. After using this medication do not eat or drink for 30 minutes. Contraindication : Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine. Sever Side Effects : Severe: Discolored teeth, weakened tooth enamel, alterations in the appearance of your teeth. Common Side Effects : Common: Indigestion, headache, weakness.
