Oxeze Turbuhaler is primarily indicated for the treatment of asthma and the prevention of bronchospasm. It is used as concomitant therapy with a long-term asthma control medication, such as an inhaled corticosteroid. This medication is suitable for adults and children who have reversible obstructive airway disease.

Do’s

  • The usual dose of Oxeze Turbuhaler is 6 g or 12 g twice daily, inhaled every 12 hours. Some adults may need 24 g twice daily, as directed by their healthcare provider. The maximum recommended daily dose for adults is 48 g and for children is 24 g.
  • For the prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB), the usual dose is 6 g or 12 g before exercise. 
  • The effectiveness of this medication depends on the proper use of the device for adequate delivery. Have your healthcare provider instruct you on how to use the device correctly.
  • If you use Oxeze Turbuhaler regularly and forget a dose, you should administer it as soon as you remember. However, if it has been more than 6 hours since your last dose, you should skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. If you are unsure about what to do after missing a dose, contact your healthcare provider for advice.
  • Oxeze Turbuhaler should be stored at room temperature and kept out of the reach of children.
