Do’s

• Take Ovral exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, usually once a day at the same time.
• Swallow the tablet whole or chew thoroughly if it's chewable (follow brand instructions).
• Follow the package instructions carefully to find the first tablet, start with the first tablet, and take them in the correct order. Don't skip doses.
• If experiencing stomach upset, take the medication after dinner or at bedtime.

• Use a backup birth control method (like condoms) if you miss pills, start a new pack late, or vomit/have diarrhea within 4 hours of taking a pill.
