This is not an exhaustive list of side effects, and other side effects may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe side effects while taking Orudis SR, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Orudis SR should not be given to patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic reactions to ketoprofen have been reported in such patients.

Orudis SR should be used with caution in patients with preexisting asthma. It may cause severe, potentially fatal bronchospasm in asthmatic patients who experience rhinitis with or without nasal polyps or exhibit severe bronchospasm after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.

NSAIDs, including Orudis SR, can cause serious skin adverse events such as exfoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), which can be fatal. These events may occur without warning.

If you plan to have surgery that requires general anesthesia, inform your healthcare provider that you are taking Orudis SR.

The use of Orudis SR during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy should be avoided unless clearly necessary. If ketoprofen is used, the dose should be kept as low and the duration of treatment as short as possible. It is not recommended to take Orudis SR during the third trimester of pregnancy.
