Drug Description : Fluor-A-Day, also known as Fluoride, is used to prevent tooth decay in patients with low level of fluoride in their drinking water. It also treats patients who have undergone radiation of the head or neck causing dryness in the mouth and increased incidence of tooth decay.Store at room temperature. Keep away from moisture and heat. Read the directions on the prescription label. Do not take larger doses than prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication as directed on the label or by your pharmacist, doctor, or other healthcare provider. Take Fluor-A-Day daily to get the most benefit from the medication. If prescribed with chewable formulation, it can be dissolved in the mouth, swallowed, chewed, and added to drinking water, fruit juice, even in infant formula with water, or other foods.
