Daliresp (Roflumilast)

Do's 

• Take Daliresp by mouth with or without food as directed by your healthcare provider, usually once daily. 
• Use this medication regularly at evenly spaced intervals to get the most benefit from it. 
• Use Daliresp at the same time each day to help remember. 
• Discuss any concerns or questions about your treatment with your healthcare provider. 
• Inform your healthcare provider if your condition does not improve or if it worsens. 

Don'ts 

• Do not increase your dose or use Daliresp more often than directed by your healthcare provider. 
• Do not stop using Daliresp without consulting your healthcare provider first. 

The dosage and administration of Daliresp (roflumilast) may vary depending on your medical condition and the guidance of your healthcare provider.  

Some common side effects that may occur include:

• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Loss of appetite
• Headache
• Back pain
• Flu-like symptoms
• Problems sleeping (insomnia)
• Dizziness
• Decreased appetite
• Minor weight loss

Serious side effects are rare but can occur.

• Rapid and unintended weight loss
• Tremors
• Pain or burning when urinating

This is not an exhaustive list, and other side effects may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe side effects while taking Daliresp,  contact your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Before taking Daliresp, it is important to be aware of the following warnings and precautions:

1. Liver Disease: Daliresp should not be used if you have moderate or severe liver disease.
2. Suicidal Thoughts: Some people may experience thoughts about suicide while taking Daliresp. Stay alert to changes in your mood or symptoms and report any new or worsening symptoms to your healthcare provider.
3. Drug Interactions: Daliresp may interact with other medications. Inform your healthcare provider about all your current medicines and any you start or stop using. Many drugs can interact with Daliresp, and some drugs should not be used together.
4. Weight Loss: Weight loss was a common adverse reaction in clinical trials of Daliresp. If unexplained weight loss occurs, inform your healthcare provider so that the weight loss can be evaluated.
5. Allergic Reactions: Seek medical help immediately if you notice symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
