Compazine (prochlorperazine) is indicated for the treatment of severe nausea and vomiting caused by various factors, such as after surgery or cancer treatment. It belongs to a class of drugs known as phenothiazines and is not recommended for use in children younger than 2 years or in children going through surgery.
