Climara patch is a transdermal system used to treat vasomotor, vulvar, and vaginal atrophy symptoms due to menopause, hypoestrogenism, and to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Climara Pro is a combination dose patch designed to reduce moderate to severe hot flashes due to menopause and prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis in women with an intact uterus.

Do’s

  • Apply to clean, dry skin on the lower stomach or buttocks (not breasts).
  • Avoid oily, broken, irritated skin and areas with friction (waistline).
  • Press firmly for 10 seconds to ensure adhesion.
  • Wear the patch for 1 week, then replace it with a new one.
  • Apply a new patch to a different area each time.
  • Wait at least 1 week before applying to the same area.
  • Dispose of used patch by folding sticky sides together and throwing it away (not flushing).
  • Reapply a fallen patch if possible, otherwise use a new one for the remaining 7 days.
  • Wear only one patch at a time.
  • Change the patch on the same day each week for consistency.
