Benzaclin Gel is a combination medication used to treat a certain type of acne (inflammatory acne vulgaris). It helps to decrease the number of acne pimples.  Benzaclin Gel is a combination of Clindamycin and Benzoyl. Clindamycin, an antibiotic, stops the growth of acne-causing bacteria, while benzoyl peroxide can also stop the growth of bacteria and reduce oil production in the skin, helping keep pores open.
