Drug Description : Aquaphor Ointment is used in the treatment of damaged, dry skin. Aquaphor Ointment is hypoallergenic and thus works just as well for people with sensitive skin. Keep Aquaphor Ointment at room temperature and away from the influence of heat or moisture. Aquaphor Ointment should be used as directed by your doctor or as described on the label. Generally, you should wash and dry the affected area and then apply Aquaphor Ointment liberally to it. If you have any known allergies to ingredients of Aquaphor Ointment do not use it. Also, make sure that your doctor is aware of your medical history and of the medications you are currently taking. Before using Aquaphor Ointment, inform you doctor of any health problems that you have. Do not use Aquaphor Ointment on areas with third degree burns or open wounds.
