Allegra 24hours (Fexofenadine - Non Rx)

Do’s

• Take Allegra-D 24 Hour on an empty stomach, with water, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
• Swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush or chew them.
• Follow the exact dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
• Talk to your healthcare provider if your allergy symptoms don't improve after a week, worsen, or come with a fever.

Don'ts

• Don't take Allegra-D 24 Hour with fruit juice (apple, grapefruit, orange) as it can affect absorption.
• Don't take more than the prescribed dosage or take it more often than directed.
• Don't take Allegra-D 24 Hour with antacids containing aluminum and magnesium within 2 hours, as they can impact absorption.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness
• Headache
• Nausea
• Upset stomach
• Menstrual cramps
• Back pain
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Sinus pain
• Sleep problems (insomnia)

Serious Side Effects:

• Fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeat
• Tremors or shaking
• Mental/mood changes (such as anxiety, confusion, nervousness, restlessness)
• Problems urinating
• Allergic reactions (rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing)

This is not an exhaustive list, and other side effects may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe side effects while taking Allegra 24 hours, contact your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Let your healthcare provider know if you have allergies to fexofenadine, pseudoephedrine, or any other ingredients in Allegra.

Inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing conditions like glaucoma, urination problems, high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid issues, diabetes, or kidney disease.

Allegra may cause dizziness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or activities requiring alertness until you experience the effects. Limit alcohol and marijuana use which can worsen dizziness.

Before surgery, disclose all medications (including Allegra) to your healthcare provider.

Be aware of increased risk for side effects like fast heartbeat, dizziness, urination problems, sleep troubles, or confusion in older adults.

Allegra should only be used during pregnancy if clearly necessary. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare provider. Allegra may pass into breast milk. Consult your healthcare provider before breastfeeding.
