Aklief Cream is a prescription medicine used topically to treat acne vulgaris in people 9 years of age and older. It may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and speed up the healing of pimples that do develop.

Aklief Cream contains the retinoid molecule trifarotene, which belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. Trifarotene works by affecting the growth of cells, decreasing swelling, and reducing inflammation.
