Indication : Nytol Extra Strength is a more concentrated non-prescription medication that is intended for short term use to relieve occasional sleeplessness that occurs as a result of fatigue, over-work or tiredness. Storage : Nytol Extra Strength comes in the form of tablets and should be stored in its original container, according to packaging directions. Elderly patients should consult a doctor before taking Nytol Extra Strength. Warnings : This medication is intended for short-term use. Sleeplessness lasting for a period of more than two weeks may be an indication of insomnia, or another condition, which can be better treated with other medications. If you find that your sleeplessness lasts for more than a few nights at a time, contact your doctor, and schedule an appointment to discuss your sleeplessness. Patient Family Information: Take Nytol Extra Strength tablets according to the directions listed on the packaging. If the directions on the packaging are unclear, or you do not understand them, contact your healthcare provider for clarification before taking Nytol Extra Strength. This medication is generally recommended to be taken orally at night, before bed. It is recommended to consult your doctor or pharmacist about a proper dosage for you before taking Nytol Extra Strength. Contraindication : Nytol Extra Strength should not be taken if you are allergic to any ingredients in this medication. Nytol Extra Strength tablets should also not be taken if you: have recently consumed alcohol; have asthma; have glaucoma; have any type of chronic lung disease; have difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate; are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant; or are breastfeeding. This medication is not for children under the age of twelve. Sever Side Effects : Other than allergic reaction and morning drowsiness, no side effects have been associated with this medication.
